Start the sightseeing from Old Delhi with your first visit to Jama Masjid- the largest mosque in India. Drive past the Red Fort and visit Rajghat – memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Visit India Gate – memorial to the Indian army soldiers who died in the World War II, drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan (formerly the viceroy’s residence) and the parliament House.

Amritsar

The Golden Temple is the spiritual centre of the Sikh religion. It is a superb blend of Islamic and Indian styles of architecture. Amritsar is the city of the Sikhs, an exuberant and highly spirited group of people.

A historical monument that tells the sad story of mass killing during the independence movement in India, Jalianwallah Bagh is another must visit in Amritsar. Here lies the memorial of the martyrs of the 1919 massacre by British General Dyer. Presently the place also has a park.

Dharamsala

The City is the winter Seat of government of the state of Himachal Pradesh and the headquarters of the Kangra District Mcleod Ganj, a village within Dharamshala municipality, is the home of the Dalai Lama and the exiled Tibetan government. This home of the present Dalai Lama is a scenic hill station located at an altitude of 4,550 ft above sea level.

Manali

Manali, at 1,926 metres on the northern edge of the Kullu valley, is the most popular tourist resort in this area.

Keylang

Keylong is the administrative centre of the Lahaul and Spiti district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, 126 km north of Manali and 120 km from the Indo-Tibetan border.

This place is more tranquil place to take rest and to spend time with self.

Leh

After crossing another Taglang La Pass (5,328 m), the highest pass of this trip and the second highest motorable pass in the world, one reaches Leh.

The various interesting temple Lhakhang, the Tsenmo Mountain up to the tip and Gonkhang, the Stupa of Changspa on the western outskirts, a visit to the Maitreya temple Jampa Lhakhang and about 4 km from Leh distant monastery Sankar are like wonderful sightseeing options.

Start a nice trek to Tingmosgang village 5-6hrs, which was once the capital of western Ladakh during 16/17th century. We trek along a gradual path and enroute cross Mebtak la (3700 mt) pass. The statue of Avalokitsehwara (Chanra-sig) is one of the most revered images of the Palace monastery.
